When I started the Salesman Podcast 12 months ago I made the commitment to sell the advertising space so I could put everything that I was learning on the show into practice and then report back on what worked and what didn’t.

About 6 months ago the ad space started selling itself. I was oversubscribed with inbound requests and sold out of ad inventory for 2016 and the beginning of 2017.

Other than one final ad slot that I’ve been saving for this moment…

  • Set up a qualified phone call that I close the business on
  • Close the business yourself and arrange a call for me to confirm and sort out invoicing

To claim the $500 the prospect must close and pay their invoice before January 1st.

On the day the invoice is paid I will do a wire transfer of your “commission” directly to your bank account.

The Rules

This is the first time running a competition like this so I reserve the right to change things slightly if any issues develop –

  • You can’t close the company/marketing team that employ you currently.
  • You cannot sell a current sponsor of the show.
  • I reserve the right to refuse unsuitable sponsorship opportunities (pay day loans etc).
  • To claim the $500 prize the prospects invoice must be paid before 1st January. 
  • If you annoy anyone (hint: don’t email spam the whole of the sales industry) you are out of the competition.
